Subject: Errors, errors, errors!
I went through and edited this e-mail you got.... I think this guy must
have just barely made it through 4th grade; even THEY are taught the difference between
"there" and "their". He seems to prove the theory that Fry's employees
are hired off the street.
Dear mr Daniel,
Instead of gripping (sp. - griping)
about Fry's polices why dont you try looking around for electronic stores that carry as
much stuff as they do. You know why you dont (gr. - missing
punctuation AND two unseparated clauses)
it's because you can't you have to go to at least 3 stores to find eveything you were
looking for (should be new clause separated by semicolon or period;
ended clause with prepostion) and not to mention the low prices on all of there
stuff. Ya sure so things are expensive but the prices 90 percent of the store are so
competive (sp. - competitive)(should have coordinator-either a comma
or "that")you won't find a better price any where. You shuold (sp.- should) also look at that if you go to another store your
going to get salsemen (sp. -salesmen) who don't know anything
(new clause should be separated by semicolon) thats going to
happpen everywhere. It's not there (sp.-their)fault that you (missing verb) incompantant (sp.-incompetent;
misuse) and don't know what it is you need (new clause should
be separated by semicolon) they are not mind readers. And one other (subordinate clause should be separated by period or colon) thing
try going to another store and return something and see how
much they charge you for a reshelfing fee for the product. I'd rather wait a while than
lose money.(what relevance does this have?)
I also(gr.-as it is, it implies that YOU are an
emloyee; adverb should be placed after verb) am an employee of FRY'S ElLECTRONICS(sp.- Fry's Electronics). if(beginning
of sentence should be capitalized) you worked there for a while and see all the
scams and stealing of products you would understand why are polices (sp.-
policies)are the way they are. So if you have a problem then forget about use (unclear) and spend more money and time looking for what you need
for low prices at another store (descriptive subordinate clause
should be separated by comma) which you wont find.
thank you for you time of(wrong preposition) reading this
letter.
Sincerly(sp.- sincerely),
Brad of San Diego, CA
