Hello Daniel,

I understand the pain you're going through. I have listened in on arguments between salespeople (if you can call them that) and unfortunate customers to rely on Fry's employee suggestions. If you can manage to get somebody to help you in Fry's, chances are the information you get is wrong. You are better off making a decision for yourself or ask another customer in the store. It may come as a surprise to other individuals but, YOU CAN RETURN SOFTWARE THE A REPUTABLE STORE!!!!

I believe the only reason so many people tolerate Fry's is because they are a high volume chain that they are able to offer low prices. We all know that they have to save on skilled labor to give good prices. I don't know if you were able to eventually return the software, but I would tie the software to the erroneous hardware puchase and demand they take it back. Ask for someone with the authority to return it! Good Luck.
