Dear Mr. Spisak:
Your site would be much more convincing if it was free of the
spelling/typographical errors that it contains. By the way, it is Carl
Karcher, not Karl, and Calvin Klein, not Kline. I share your feelings
about the way that Carl's Jr.'s advertising has become quite tacky, and
hope that it changes. At the same time, I have the utmost respect for
Carl Karcher himself - I am sure that if it was his decision to make, he
would not by any means endorse the current advertising methods.
Unfortunately, he did not "give up"control of his company - it was taken
from him.
